Seasoned Firewood:
Our Firewood is Seasoned one year and is made up of Hardwood such as Oak,Maple And Ash. We cut our firewood for an average size stove, and split it 15"-18" long. We cut and split throughout the winter, and then as soon as the ground thaws it is stacked to dry for the spring, summer, and most of the fall.
Kiln Dried Firewood:
Our Kiln dried firewood is put into a kiln which is similar to a large oven. The wood is loaded into baskets and place into the kiln for three days at a temperature of 180 degrees and this removes all of the water from the wood. We then remove it and place it under cover until delivery. We always have a a backlog as we can only produce so much at a time.

PLEASE READ:Make sure your stove can accept a 15" to 19" log before you place an order. We do not offer stacking services .All of our Seasoned Firewood is stored outdoors which means if it rains heavy or snows the wood will be wet . This happens more toward the Fall in Oct-Jan because the wood does not have the summer sun to dry it out .The wood is seasoned and ready to burn ,but if need be put a small amout in your garage or shed to dry for a few weeks the the bark will dry off . If you burn wood wood this is common knowledge ,but for new customers now you know. The last thing is you must build a fire out of kidling wood before trying to burn the seasoned wood. Our Kiln Dried wood is stored undercover so it is always dry. If you need firewood near me call us 508-586-8524.

Firewood Facts:
When you are ready to select a local firewood supplier, take some time out of your day to visit their location and you can see what type of supply they are working with. You should immediately see the difference between professional companies and those with little experience in the marketplace. The main thing to keep in mind is will they have enough supply to should you need more wood at a later date as some people just cut wood for a hobby or small suppliers buy a trailer load say 15 cords and that's it. A real supplier will have a large firewood pile that should last depending on demand at least into February .Most small suppliers do not begin to split wood until July or August and they tell customers it has been split a year. If you ride by Tri-Town in December you can see our wood pile all ready to go for the next season.
Here at Tri-Town Landscape Materials we are one of the largest suppliers of firewood on the South Shore and we take great pride in that. We offer our customers Seasoned and Kiln Dried firewood and we deliver year round. Keeping you warm for over 20 years
